2025 - The Adventures to Come (Part 1)

2025 is here and I couldn’t be more stoked.

With new provisions on the way and new adventures on the horizon, I’ve got a lot to share with y’all.

To kick things off, I’m taking on some local adventures around Steamboat including skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, and snowmobiling. With snow coming down non-stop out here, I’d be remiss to not take full advantage of the powder. Best of all, for any of those adventures that demand a lot from my cardiovascular system, my QuickDraw Pants paired with long johns have proven to be the perfect apparel for the job.

Jan 9-12 I’m headed down to Denver for the International Sportsman’s Expo. This is a new show for me so I’m super excited to see how it goes. Make sure to swing by if you’re in the area!

Next up, I’ll be joining the guys at Louisiana Flyfisher to chase Bull Reds down South. When you get asked to join a trip like this, you just can’t say no. I’ll be accompanied by some of the boys from Steamboat Flyfisher.

Leaving from New Orleans, I’ll make my way East back to The Fly Fishing Show in Atlanta. With so many good friends out there, its always a great time. If you’re in the area, definitely come say hi. If you miss me at the show, you can probably find me at The Fish Hawk.

After finishing business in Georgia, it’s back to Texas for one of our favorite events of the year, GRTUs TroutFest! Pray for good weather cause this event is all the more fun when we stay warm. Hopefully I can fit in some golf when I’m down there as the option has been off the table up here the past few months.

From Texas, I’ll make my way back to Colorado for some R&R as I get ready for my next trip.

Xcalak, Mexico has been calling my name for far too long and this year I decided it couldn’t be ignored. I managed to convince my groomsmen to accompany me down there to chase bonefish, permit, tarpon, and snook. This is a great opportunity to put some of our new provisions to the test and hopefully get y’all some exciting content. It’s sure to be rowdy.

May is relatively free but if you want to see us somewhere, let me know! This also will be the start to our guide season up in Steamboat, and the big fish are sure to be hungry.

June means I’m back on the water full time, so if you want to come fish, let me know.

Follow along for part 2 and see where we are headed in the latter half of 2025.
